We're renewing our call for justice for Rebekah!
In July 2021, Rebekah Barsotti was in the process of divorcing her husband, who had a PFMA order against him, and had recently moved to Missoula for a fresh start. On July 20, she returned to Superior to gather her belongings and was last seen at the Town Pump with her dog, Cerberus. That same day, her vehicle and belongings were found near the Clark Fork River in Alberton, but no one reported seeing her or Cerberus at the river. Cerberus was later found drowned, and Rebekah’s body wasn’t recovered until May 17, 2022.
Our updated petition highlights ongoing concerns, including:
-Incomplete Investigation: Despite the suspicious circumstances, Authorities have yet to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into Rebekah's disappearance and death. Rebekah’s family continues to seek answers.
-Withheld Information: Despite multiple FOIA and CCJI requests, critical evidence remains undisclosed.
-Need for Policy Reform: Rebekah's case underscores the urgent need for standardized procedures in handling missing persons cases, especially those involving domestic violence.
We urge you to:
Sign and Share the Petition: Your support is crucial in demanding an independent and comprehensive investigation.
Spread the Word: Share Rebekah's story with media outlets, podcast hosts, and investigative journalists who offer pro bono services. Engaging with these platforms can significantly increase public awareness and potentially uncover new leads.
Your continued support matters. Let's work together to seek the justice Rebekah deserves.
